OUR TRYOUT PHILOSOPHY: IT’S A TWO-WAY STREET
At Legacy Soccer, we believe tryouts should go both ways. Players deserve the chance to evaluate us just as much as we evaluate them. That’s why we’ve built a 3-day tryout experience that puts the players first.

TRYOUT FORMAT
🗓️ Day 1 (June 8): We evaluate the player
We Evaluate the Player
Players go through technical, tactical, and physical assessments. We observe how they play, communicate, and carry themselves.
🗓️ Day 2 (June 9): You evaluate the coach
You Evaluate the Coach
This is your opportunity to experience a true Legacy training session. See how we coach, how we teach, and how we connect with our players. Ask questions. Feel the difference.
🗓️ Day 3 (June 10): Meet the team
Meet Your Teammates (U13 and older)
The final day is all about team chemistry. Players get a taste of our culture through scrimmages, small-sided games, and team-building activities.

We believe if you coach the person first, the player will follow. Our focus is on building character. Discipline, accountability, and the ability to lead yourself. The best leaders know how to follow first, and that’s something we expect and develop every day.
We use soccer as a tool to teach those things. Competition, pressure, setbacks, growth. That’s where it shows up.
The end result is not just a better player. It’s a confident, disciplined young person who knows how to handle themselves. The elite soccer player is the piece that comes with it.

U9–U12 players (2018–2015) do not return for Day 3

$$ Registration Cost & Payment Options
We know this is a real commitment for families. From the beginning, our goal has been to keep soccer as accessible as possible while still providing a strong development environment. That balance is not always easy, but it remains a priority in every decision we make. This is what drives the registration structure for the 2026/2027 season:

Eight-month payment plan
Payment plans require an initial $125 payment. Scholarships or assistance may be available for families who need support.
$ Discounts:

Early Commitment Discount: $25 off when registering by June 30th. This may be combined with other eligible discounts.

Sibling Discount: First player at full price, additional siblings receive 50% off registration

Coach Discount: 1 free registration. Available for approved head coaches and assistant coaches.

Military / First Responder Discount: 15% off for active duty, National Guard, veterans, and first responders.

Teacher / Educator Discount: 15% off for teachers and educators.
Military / First Responder and Teacher / Educator discounts are not combinable. Eligible families may use one or the other.

At Legacy Soccer, we’re committed to full transparency and delivering exceptional value. Your registration fee includes:

Full Year of Soccer (Including two league seasons, Fall & Spring)
Includes all training sessions and league games
10 months of active training (November and December, we break for holidays and family)

Licensed Coaching
Led by licensed, experienced coaches focused on holistic player development -
League Registration & Referee Fees
Includes Snake River League entry and all referee costs -
State Registration & Secondary Player Insurance
Covers player enrollment through the Idaho Youth Soccer Association and secondary state insurance -
Field Rental & Equipment
Access to local fields, goals, cones, and team gear throughout the year -
Training & Facility Rental
Indoor training sessions during the winter months to ensure year-round development
Legacy Soccer Payment Policy (2026–2027 Season)
This agreement outlines Legacy Soccer’s payment requirements and policies associated with team acceptance for the 2026–2027 season.
⚽Tryout Fees

Tryouts are completely free of charge.

No payment or financial commitment is required to participate in tryouts.
✉Team Invitation and Acceptance

Players selected after tryouts will receive an official team invitation via email with a personalized registration link.

Acceptance of the team invitation is required to secure the player’s roster spot. Upon acceptance, you will select your preferred payment plan, and payments will begin processing.
$ Initial Commitment Fee

Upon accepting your team invitation, a minimum initial payment of $100 is required.

This initial payment covers mandatory state and local fees (IYSA, Snake River League, USYS/US Club Soccer registration fees, player card, and insurance).

This initial fee is non-refundable once paid.
⌛ Payment Plan Options
Families may choose from two available payment plan options upon team acceptance:

Full Payment

4-Month Payment Plan:Initial fee of $125 + balance spread equally over the next 4 consecutive months.

8-Month Payment Plan:
Initial fee of $125 + balance spread equally over the next 8 consecutive months.
Payments are scheduled monthly and processed automatically on a recurring basis from the method of payment you provide upon registration acceptance. If cost is a concern, we encourage you to apply for our Player Scholarship Program, designed to help make soccer accessible to all.
§ Player Scholarship Program
Legacy Soccer is committed to ensuring that no player is prevented from playing soccer due to financial constraints. We offer a confidential scholarship program to assist families in need of financial support.
If financial assistance is needed, please contact us directly at legacy@legacysoccerclub.com. All requests are handled discreetly and confidentially.
☆ Volunteer Coach Registration Waiver
Legacy Soccer deeply values our volunteer coaches. To show our appreciation, volunteer coaches will receive one (1) complimentary player registration for their child during the season in which they actively volunteer as a coach.
⚠️ Refund & Withdrawal Policy

All payments are non-refundable once processed. This includes, but is not limited to:

Player withdrawal from the club (injury, dissatisfaction, schedule conflicts, etc.)

Player removal from the team due to violations of club policy or Code of Conduct

The only exception is if Legacy Soccer is unable to provide placement on a team after a payment has been accepted.
⚠️ Late Payments & Non-Payment

Accounts more than 15 days overdue may result in a temporary suspension of player eligibility, training, and/or participation in games or tournaments until the account is made current.

If payment difficulties arise, please contact Legacy Soccer administration immediately to arrange alternative payment solutions.
